Porsche Convertible Tops – Another Irresistible Feature of the Sports Car

Convertible tops, which are attached to the upper body of a convertible car, allow flexibility in the structure of an automobile, and also increases its aesthetic appeal. These convertible tops provide flexibility in the sense, that the vehicle can be converted from a closed, normal one to an open air vehicle, whenever one desires. The convertible tops are either made of soft materials like vinyl, canvas, or hard materials like steel and aluminum. The convertible tops are usually non detachable. The convertible top is hinged to the vehicle and when you wish to turn you car into a roofless one, you simply activate the mechanism that does the job for you. The top folds up and passes over the rear seats towards the boot of the car. The convertible top that is designed for specific use by a Porsche car is called a Porsche convertible top.
